An example of a didactic video game is the Cuidadín Cuidadínez series, a total of 4 3D graphic adventures developed for the Junta de Castilla y León. A saga of videogames designed to teach Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) to boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 15. Subsequently, a fifth chapter entitled PRL Act was made, which maintained the same premise but this time focused on an adult audience.
The idea is based on two parameters:
(1) It is advisable to teach Occupational Risk Prevention from an early age in order to form "good habits".
(2) Players learn very directly how to overcome the obstacles in the game to progress through the stages.
This feature is perfect for education, because we can create obstacles and events loaded with educational content. The player learns while having fun.
